Big government fishes eat the smaller fishes: Ethiopia says 130 corruption suspects detained



As usual when senior Ethiopian government (TPLF/EPRDF) officials, who have been at the helm of power and administration for 25 years, have continued arresting their juniors for alleged “corruption.”

According to the ruling Front’s Radio station, Fana, 130 people, of the total 260 people, suspected of corruption have been detained.

The properties and accounts of the 13 suspects have been frozen and confiscated.

The detainees include government officials, business-people and experts. Eight big Share Companies, four buildings, 29 vehicles, 22 houses and two factories have been sanctioned, according to the Radio.
