British Conservative politician and United Kingdom’s Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, Philip Anthony Hammond, has spoken with Ethiopia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Tedros Adhanom, in Munich, Germany about Andargachew Tsige, a British citizen of Ethiopian origin abducted by Ethiopian securities in June 2014 from Yemen Airport.
Hammond twetted on February 13, 2016 that he met with Ethiopia’s Minister Tedros ” about ongoing concerns UK has with the detention of Andargachew Tsige. ”

It is possible to understand from the tweeted photo that the meeting was held during the 52nd Security Conference held from 12 to 14 February 2016, in Germany.
The details of the two ministers meeting has not been made public.
Andargachew Tsige is the Secretary General of the Ginbot 7 Movement (now Arebegnoch Ginbot 7).
In June 2015, Philip Hammond had warned Ethiopia over treatment of Andargachew Tsige.
This is the first time that Hammond met with Minister Adhanom to speak about Andargachew Tsige.
