Dr. Dagnachew Assefa, had been a lecturer of philosophy at the Addis Abeba University for the past nearly 10 years until he was systematically sacked by the University under contentious circumstances and pretexts.
He lived, studied and lectured in the U.S. for over two decades before he returned to Ethiopia.
Last week, he conducted this lovely interview with the regional television of the Amhara region, Amhara Mass Media Agency, speaking about philosophy, freedom and more specifically about Ethiopian 16th Century philosopher, Zera Yakob (Worqe).
It is fair to appreciate the young journalist here first for hosting a guest like Dr. Danganchew, asking such sensical questions and interesting presentation skills. Keep it up fellow!
