Court gives a 50K birr bail to famous Ethiopian exorcist priest Memhir Girma



The Arada First Instance Court has today given a 50,000 birr bail to detained Ethiopian exorcist priest Memhir Girma Wondimu, who has been detained for over two weeks suspected of “cheating a faithful into selling a house” and also having no legal permit to conduct exorcism and baptismal services.

If unlike the customary practice of the Ethiopian justice system, police respects the Court order, then Memhir Girma could be released on bail today.
