Two Ethiopian men shot dead in Rustenburg

Two Ethiopian men were shot dead and one injured during a robbery at their shop in Thekwane near Rustenburg, North West police said on Friday.Police spokesperson Paul Ramaloko said unknown men shot at the victims on Thursday evening.

“According to the information, the victims were attacked by two unknown men minutes before closing their shop. The men fired shots at them. Two were fatally wounded, while one was critically wounded. The wounded was rushed to a local hospital for medical attention.”
Meanwhile, four foreign nationals were arrested after a 17-year-old schoolboy was shot and killed in Thokoza on the East Rand on Thursday.

According to the police, the children allegedly started to vandalise the foreign owned shop and the owners then retaliated.
