Lencho, ODF to return to Ethiopia; take part in election

Lencho Letta, who has been leading the Oromo Liberation Front (OLF) during its ‘most radical and anti-Ethiopianism and Amhara eras’, including the times of Ethiopia’s transitional period, now the leader of Oromo Democratic Forum (Front) (ODF), has decided to return back to Ethiopia and take part in the upcoming election, the Deutsche Welle Amharic Program reported. The OLF has been designated as a ‘terrorist’ organisation by the Ethiopian parliament.

Lencho confirmed to the Radio also that he and his new Forum are going back to Ethiopia to legally fight in the political arena and work for a better ‘unity among the people of the Country’.

The leadership team of the ODF includes Lencho Letta, Dr. Dima Negeo, Amno Dube, Bula Atomsa, and Dr. Beyan Asoba and many other former top leaders of the OLF who switched off positions as the new ODF came into being the old OLF died out splintering into many smaller groups.

የኦሮሞ ዴሞክራሲያዊ ግንባር በእንግሊዝኛ ምህጻሩ «ኦ ዲ ኤፍ» ወደ ኣገር ቤት ተመልሶ በሰላማዊ መንገድ ለመታገል መወሰኑን ኣስታወቀ። የግንባሩ ፕሬዝደንት አቶ ሌንጮ ለታ እንደገለጹት ግንባሩ ከምስረታው ኣንስቶ ወደ ኣገር ቤት ለመመለስ ግልጽ አቐም ይዟል።

ለኢትዮጵያ ህዝቦች አዲስ ራዕይ ኣለኝ የሚለው የኦሮሞ ዲሞክራሲያዊ ግንባር ህጋዊ መሰረት ያለው ኣገራዊ ኣንድነትን ለመመስረት እንደሚሰራም ኣስታውቐል።

«ኦ ዲ ኤፍ» በይፋ ከተመሰረተ ገና ኣንድ ዓመቱ ሲሆን ፕሬዝደንቱ አቶ ሌንጮ ለታ ለረጅም ጊዜ የዓማጺው ኦሮሞ ነጻነት ግንብር ከፍተኛ ዓመራር አባል እንደነበሩ ኣይዘነጋም።
