Two bankers sustain handgun attack in Addis Abeba

Two Ethiopian bankers working at the Temenja Yaje Branch of the State owned Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) in Addis Abeba, Ethiopia, have sustained handgun attack today, the Addis Abeba based Tadias Addis Program on Sheger 102.1 FM reported on it s Saturday night show. 

Chief Inspector Tsegaye Balcha of the Addis Abeba Police Commission told the Radio Program that one of the employees of the Bank working had entered the Bank with a handgun and shot his colleague who works at the Counter and after his friend was injured he also shot and injured himself.  The cause of the attack is said to be a “personal disagreement” between the two bank clerks. Both individuals are now receiving treatment at Betezata Hospital in Addis Abeba and their condition is said to be non life threatening
