Eritrea Con. re-writing? Ethnic rights

The new Eritrean discourse these days is about constitutional rewriting and the rights of nationalities and ethnic groups. The Eritrean regime is reported to have exploited and drummed the “Ethiopia is the prison of nationalities” discourse, and the same debate has now entered Eritrea in full swing, they are saying “Eritrea is a prison of minority ethnic groups” and are asking for liberty and rights. The architect of the 1997 Eritrean Constitution, Professor Bereket Habte Selassie is now working with world class experts to “rewrite” the Eritrean Constitution.  The main reason being the issue of the rights of ethnic groups and nationalities in Eritrea.
